Garrett is now launching a new line of G-Series II turbochargers. The special features are:
- New compressor aerotechnology increases power and performance
- Direct upgrade for Gen I customers as a complete turbocharger unit, supercore, or just with a cartridge/CHRA
- G-Series II uses Gen I compressor and turbine housings.
- Up to 10% higher flow volume compared to G-Series Gen I at maximum pressure ratio and maximum turbocharger speed.
- Calibration required to utilize the increased flow volume for a performance upgrade.
- Increased efficiency at high flow rates
And the same features of the GEN I series:
– High-flow compressor housing with optional connection for the speed sensor
– Turbine wheel made of Mar-M (resistant up to 1050° C) with 15 to 20% more flow
– Stainless steel turbine housing resistant up to 1050° C
– Turbine housing with V-band inlet and V-band outlet
– CHRA with V-band individually rotatable
– Dual ceramic ball bearings
– 4 water connection ports
– Double sealing on the piston rings
